sick to the back teeth performed live on october 4th, 2009 at goodbye blue monday in brooklyn. although the performance was recorded on tape, the sound quality was not good enough to present as a live album. the next day, i used the original backing tracks and re-dubbed the live parts in the studio to preserve these alternate versions of songs.

the first two tracks were dubbed in the studio on october 5th. track 3 is a composite of the studio backing track and the live performance vocals, so it is sort of like a matrix bootleg recording. the fourth track is simply the actual live recording of the noise segment of the set. the last track was performed later that night, in the backyard of goodbye blue monday, with nobody around except a talk radio.

black cat originally appears on the "isidore" album. this version contains elements of "bump" by spank rock with amanda blank. heavy jam originally appears on "spring #49". this version contains elements of "champion" by buju banton. manimal is a germs cover.
